Troublemaker

I've said it before, but I'll say it again, my kid's too cute to stay in trouble.

He gets in trouble. I attempt to punish him. Seconds later, he's usually out of trouble somehow.

Monday, he did something that really upset me (though I don't even remember what it was now -- most likely he either hurt me or he hurt the dog, those are the only things that typically make me mad at him). I sent him to his room. He didn't want to go, but I was so mad that I sent him anyway and put the baby gate up behind him so he couldn't come back downstairs. (The baby gate is actually used to keep Harley from going upstairs unsupervised.)

It wasn't long before he stopped crying and came back downstairs. He stopped at the gate, gave me the cutest look ever and told me he was ready to be nice.


To fulfill his punishment, I made him stand at the gate while I took his picture before letting him back downstairs.
