A Little Trim

I don't know why I do this to myself, but...

Caleb's hair was getting a little unruly, I'm aware. But the truth of the matter is that I love his long hair. Love love love. So why in the world did I take him to get his hair cut? I just don't know.

Monday, we went to Cool Cuts 4 Kids, which is extremely expensive for a 3 year old's haircut, but they have video games and movies which makes it all fun. And well, video games were the only bribe that would possibly convince Caleb to cut off his beautiful long hair.

The girl who cut his hair was super nice and great with him. The only thing I didn't like about her was the fact that she cut off my child's hair. I mean, really. I LOVE his long hair! I don't know what I was thinking.

But still, he got to play a Cars video game (that was a little too advanced for him since he normally plays Wii video games and thinks that to turn you are supposed to tilt the entire remote instead of just the little control stick. But he still enjoyed it). And he had a lollipop in his mouth from the get-go. So he was a happy camper. His only comment after was that it tickled when she cut his hair.

The end result:

and one sad mommy. Who has to constantly tell her child how gorgeous he is, even though I hate that we cut off all his hair. HATE it. He's hardly Caleb any more.

Needless to say, we will be growing his hair out once again unless he begs to have it cut. And I mean on his knees with tears streaming down his face, BEGS.

Don't hate. He really DOES look good. I'm excited to see him tonight- even if it is through the computer.

Aw, he looks great! The haircut isn't bad, it just takes some getting used to.
He is such a cute boy. I love the chair pictures too.
My son always loved to pose with stuff like that also.
I know I haven't met him but I think he has a super cute personality.
Well, he has to, he's your boy. right?

It looks good. I'm the same way though. We're getting ready to chop Axton's for a wedding and I just can't bring myself to do it! At least for now it grows back!
