Today's my mom's birthday. Since it's my blog, I think that entitles me to reveal her big secret: she's 50 now!
I remember when I was a kid and 30 seemed so very old. Now, even 50 still seems young. Crazy the way life works like that.
Anyway, happy birthday Mom! Thanks for all you do for us and for just being you. I love you!

PS--50 IS young! My parents are 53next month and a LOT of my friends have parents who are in their late 50s, early 60s...so 50 does seem young to me. :)
