I wanted to get a picture of Caleb with his one tooth since number two is starting to come in.
He looks a little silly in this picture (kind of distorted), since he loves to crawl on me when I'm trying to take his picture.
He also thinks it's so fun to put the lens cap back on the lens whenever I get the camera out.
This morning, Caleb signed his first word! He was being super fussy during breakfast and we were really struggling. Finally, I gave up.
"Are you all done?" I asked.
He lifted his hands up and signed "all done" and I didn't even sign it to him first! It was so cute. I got so excited, and of course, didn't care anymore that he wouldn't eat breakfast. Instead, I just cleaned him up and let him go back to playing. I'm just so proud of him!
And then, because he's just such a good boy, when naptime came, he crawled over to me and climbed up in my arms and laid his head on my shoulder. Then he reached down and tucked his arm under mine, just to make sure I knew he was really ready. It was precious. I dread putting him down for naps and was going to keep him up later than normal just to make sure he'd go down when I finally got around to trying. But right when naptime came, he told me he was ready and then went down like an angel.
I love you Caleb!

What a precious boy you have. I love Caleb too!
So good even when brandon wasn't there. At first I thought you meant kid not teeth.
YAY! I am glad you are doing sign language with him. Trust me- you wont regret it... no matter who says it might be silly.
I bet it is wonderful watching you with Caleb.
::hug::
I thought the title of your blog meant you attempting child #2... way to clarify. Either way, I encourage the fun of trying for a 2nd kid and enduring the teeth coming in process.
